I am a graduate of Carson-Newman College with a Bachelor of Art degree in Mass Communication.
Soon after graduation, I began my career as a newswriter for a daily newspaper in Tennessee. However, it wasn’t until I combined my experience in journalism with my passion for photography that I realized my true love: photographic storytelling.
For me, photojournalism provides a more complex way of capturing, describing and explaining emotion to others far beyond the capability of words. (I want that “wow” factor!) There is no doubt in my mind that I have found my life’s calling.
I began working for Richard Bell Photography in February of 2006. I am incredibly grateful to this studio for providing me the opportunity to express
my creativity as I learn and grow in my photographic talents. |
